Melbourne is the reigning First, Second, Third and Second Division C grade premiers, so if you are into playing rugby then the Melbourne Rugby Club is the place for you! The 2011 rugby season in Victoria will get underway in April and will conclude with the finals in September. Masters Competiition The club will field a team in the Masters Competition in 2011. Some of the benefits of playing Masters rugby include: No contested scrums No lifting in the line-out No formal training – important for those who have other commitments Unlimited, rolling subs Everyone that turns up gets a run. Training SENIORS Training will start at the end of January on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:45PM Note: A game of touch begins to develop around 6:20 JUNIORS Training will start in March at 5:30PM Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 every Tuesday and Thursday Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 and Under 10 every Thursday We will not be able to get onto our home ground until April, due to the cricket season.
