Melbourne is at the centre of Victorian Rugby. With many State senior representatives, some of the best facilities and off-field support of all Victorian Clubs.
New players are always welcome at the Club. If you are in the area, please call the Club and drop in for a beer.
If you are new in town, we at the Club will be more than happy to assist you in finding your feet in Melbourne.
Melbourne's home ground is at Orrong Park, just over the road from the club house.
Players at Melbourne receive extensive medical support. Physiotherapists are present at on match days and most training sessions. Medical staff are equipped with necessary equipment, including ultrasound and interferential machines.
Outside of playing and training times, Club members have access to discounted physiotherapy and medical attention at all Sports Medical Centres of Victoria, including the nearby specialist Prahran Sports Medicine Centre. Similar discounts are offered at the Victoria House sports medicine facility.
We are serious about providing a professional club environment for our members and guests. As part of this direction we are constantly updating facilities, equipment and the Clubrooms. All of which is located about ten minutes walk or two minutes taxi ride is Chapel Street, regarded as one of the highlights of Melbourne. Boutique shopping for daytime and a multitude of pubs and nightclubs to keep you entertained in the evenings and beyond.
