Rebel Rugby Regional Competition
Under 18 Eastern Regional Rebels Rugby Competition.
The VRU will be running a mini Under 18 rugby competition in the lead up to this years season for any interested plays. This competition is supported by both your local clubs and schools.
COST: $50
Players will receive a training shirt, medical assistance, elite coaching, Rebel Rugby Gym and Nutrition Programs.

2012 Stonnington Gift
East Malvern Community Bank is promoting and sponsoring the Stonnington Gift to provide a community sporting event and raise funds for the Prahran Cricket Club
It is the premier metropolitan footrace with prize money in excess of $35,000.
The inaugural event was run in February 2011 and this year will be held as a twilight event at Toorak Park on Friday 10th February 2012, commencing at 6.00pm.

National Junior Registration Day
Saturday 18 February 2012
The VRU will be holding our National Rego Day at Goschs Paddock (Corner of Punt Rd and Olympic Boulevard). Between 4pm and 6pm prior to the RaboDirect Rebels V Crusaders trial game.
As a small incentive each child that registers for the 2012 season will be given a free Show Bag. Children between the age of 5 and 12 will also receive a ARU goodie bag and children between the age of 13 and 18 will receive a Rebels goodie Bag.
Each club will have a tent set up to take registrations on Goschs Paddock. If you have already paid online, please bring along your receipt so that you can get your show bag.
The VRU in conjunction with the Rebels have organized some entertainment for the day between 4pm until 5.30pm. Mini Competitions and games will be held on Field 2:
Station 1: Tackling Bag Session
Station 2: Rugby Relays
Station 3: Passing Competition
Station 4: High Ball Contest
The Melbourne Rebels will be onsite between 4pm and 6pm so it will be a great day for the kids to come along and play with their stars. They will also have a tent set up where players will be sitting to sign autographs and have photos taken.

At the conclusion of the National Junior Registration Day the VRU will be holding a Premier Division 7's tournament running from 3:15 until 6:00pm at AAMI Park.
